ASSESSMENTS AND EVALUATIONS CLINIC
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS
VEEMAH provides a variety of psychological assessments for adults and children including ADHD evaluations, Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Examination (CMDE), and immigration waiver assessment. These assessments and evaluations provide insight into an individual's behaviors, personality, and capabilities.
ADHD Evaluations
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that often begins at a young age. Our comprehensive ADHD evaluation has several purposes such as:
· To find out whether a child has symptoms that indicate ADHD
· To understand whether there are severe enough and cause enough problems to require a diagnosis
· To confirm that there are no different conditions that better explain the symptoms
Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Examination (CMDE)
Comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation (CMDE) is an assessment that must be completed when a person starts Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) service and it is updated at least once every three years. The information gathered in the CMDE is used to:
· Determine the person’s eligibility and medical need for EIDBI services
· Develop the person’s individual treatment plan (ITP), including treatment type and intensity
IMMIGRATION WAIVER ASSESSMENTS
This assessment is completed for individuals who would like to request an exception to the English and civics requirements for naturalization because of physical or developmental disability or mental impairment.
