VEEMAH is a private practice with licensed mental health professionals offering services for individuals of all ages, including school-based therapy.
Our program provides personalized, in-school therapeutic support for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Sessions are held during the school day to reduce disruption to learning.
School-based therapy is available to students who have been identified by school staff as benefiting from additional emotional or behavioral support. Services are individualized based on each child’s needs.
Our school-based therapy program focuses on:
Services are billed through your child’s health insurance, similar to other medical or mental health appointments. Insurance information is required at intake.
Costs vary depending on your insurance plan, and we encourage families to contact their insurance provider directly to understand coverage and potential out-of-pocket expenses.
For children without insurance, services may be covered through alternative funding sources, such as our grant programs. Please contact VEEMAH directly for more information about available options.
Yes. VEEMAH continues to provide therapeutic services year-round, including during the summer months. Support will take place at our clinic, depending on availability and your child’s needs.
Parental/guardian involvement is an essential part of school-based therapy at VEEMAH.
Parents or guardians are expected to participate in the intake/first appointment and remain involved throughout the treatment process.
This may include attending follow-up sessions, collaborating on treatment goals, and communicating with the therapist as needed.
Ongoing parent involvement helps ensure consistency, supports progress at home and school, and allows the therapist to provide the most effective care for the child.
